Chicago Comedy Film Festival Sneak Peek

(CHICAGO, September 7th, 2016)  Chicago Comedy Film Festival announces a sneak peek of their films which will screen at the 6th annual fest November 10th-12th. Weekend passes are now onsale at chicagocomedyfilmfestival.com.

And Punching the Clown (Los Angeles, CA, 98 MIN.) 
Starring: Henry Phillips, Tig Notaro, Sarah Silverman, J.K. Simmons
Hapless satirical songwriter Henry Phillips is lured to LA when a veteran TV producer decides to make a show about the life of a loser.

#BeRobin The Movie (San Francisco, CA, 42 MIN.) #BeRobin The Movie is a documentary about Margaret Cho’s homeless outreach campaign inspired by the philanthropy of Robin Williams.

The Room Actors: Where Are They Now? (25 MIN.)
TRA:WATN is a mockumentary television/web series that takes a fictionalized, tongue-in-cheek look at what happened to the actors in the 2003 cult film, “The Room” after appearing in what Entertainment Weekly called “the Citizen Kane of bad movies.” Pairing “talking heads” with docu-style footage, “TRA:WATN” follows seven out of nine of the original actors from “The Room,” as they comically struggle with either embracing or shaking “The Room’s” “worst movie ever made” stigma. Packed with Room jokes, Room references and Easter Eggs, the series will be a highly entertaining for Room fans, however the narrative elements and characters are compelling enough to attract those with no prior knowledge of “The Room.”
