Silver Wrapper presents Dumpstaphunk with special guests Earphunk on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Concord Music Hall.

Hailing from the musical haven that is New Orleans, Dumpstaphunk was voted “New Orleans Best Funk Band” in 2014 by Offbeat Magazine and Gambit Weekly and recently played the 2016 NOLA Jazz & Heritage Festival for their 12th consecutive year. Their spontaneous groove is a unique monster, a whole other school of funk.

Highly regarded as one of the best live bands on the planet, it cannot be disputed that Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe masterfully provides audiences with a high-energy experience, rich in his infectious saxophone licks and jazz and rock inspired melodies. Denson, himself, is a touring machine, currently playing an average of 150 shows annually and an active member of The Rolling Stones’ touring band.

Having proven their ability to generate a sound unlike any other group out there, The Werks incorporate rock, vintage psychedelic, funk music, and jamtronica into their own musical form of psychedelic dance rock. They bridge a gap by incorporating high energy music and high production values with themes that embrace exploratory jams by way of their revolutionary inventiveness.
