The Untz.com Presents:Phutureprimitive + Ill-Esha Dual Album Release Tour
Esteemed Northwest producer Phutureprimitive is set to release the first half of his highly anticipated 2 part studio album “Searching For Beauty in the Darkest Places Pt 1”, through his label, Native Harmonix, on April 9th (with part 2 coming in the Fall). This long awaited release is his first full-length album following the critically acclaimed Kinetik in 2011. In Support of the two-part release, Phutureprimitive will hit the road with Ill-Esha for a large national tour, sponsored by the Untz.com. With twenty confirmed dates across the country including featured performances in Atlanta, New York, Chicago, Lawrence, KS, and Denver, 2013 looks to be a promising year for the EDM producer.
Phutureprimitive, the moniker of northwest producer Rain, draws from many different sub-genres to create his own unique electronic transformational experience. Synonymous with the sonic proficiency of meticulously detailed, deeply layered compositions, Phutureprimitive has revolutionized the traditional dance party. His music is singular and unique in its approach: lush melodies drift across intricate rhythms, groove heavy beats and warm, fuzzy bass lines.
Known for constantly challenging and confronting the norm, the “Searching for Beauty…” will be no exception. The new composition will envelop concepts from previous releases and rework them with hard-hitting appeal; decidedly creating a new sound that is solely Phutureprimitive.
Without missing a beat, this tour will crisscross the countryside this spring with10 dates scheduled throughout the east coast and mid-west before the tour finale in majestic Durango, CO. Also booked throughout the summer festival season, Phutureprimitive will be making select stops this summer with performances scheduled at SONIC BLOOM, MANIFEST, GRATIFLY, FLOYDFEST, and BOAT PARTY to name a few.
